The so-called USB transport or sole network port transport only solves the transfer process of data, not providing any audio clock to the decoder, so it doesn’t make any real sense actually. 2. Coaxial or HDMI IIS output?

If you have a DAC with HDMI IIS input, then definitely IIS is better. An entry-level MPS 0.5MM HDMI 6N oxygen-free copper HDMI will do the job. Line sequence pls refer to the D280 manual.

3. How to choose a coaxial cable?

Common audio RCA cable is not allowed to work as coaxial cable because it has very small impedance which is bad for high frequency digital signal transfer. Bandwidth and impedance matching are the most important factors of coaxial cable since they will both affect the jitters.

4. How do I choose from D280 HIFI, D280 Femto, D300 and D300REF?

D280 is hifi level next generation digital transport, it uses D200’s mould to control the cost, but the sound quality and functions are both better than D200.
